A library is the heart of any institution. The college has
its own large and knowledgeable library and is also computerized to keep it up
to date. It has open reading hall, reference section and magazine section with
around 30000/- books to enhance the knowledge of girl students. The library is
a collection of rare books, magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias and
dictionaries related to various subjects, which can be used by students and
teachers to enhance their knowledge. Newspapers in Punjabi, Hindi and English
languages are available in the library and by placing them on the newspaper
stand, the girl students are given an opportunity to read the daily news.
Magazines and magazines are displayed separately. This library is capable of
fulfilling all kinds of curriculum related needs. The library is open for girl
students on every working day from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm so that the girl students
can make maximum use of it to increase their knowledge. Question banks related
to each subject and previous years question papers are available in the library
to help the girl students. New books recommended by the teachers are added to
the library from time to time. To improve the library, a meeting is called by
the librarian from time to time with the participation of female students and
their advice is given attention.
